EMPYREAI

Privacy Policy

Last updated: 29 August 2026

1. What this covers

This policy explains what Empyre AI ("we", "us") collects when you use empyre.tech and the Empyre AI desktop application, and what we do with it. Contact for anything privacy-related: jake@empyre.uk.

2. What we collect

  • Account data — your email address and sign-in credentials (passwords are hashed by our authentication provider; we never see them).
  • Your content — videos you process and the clips, captions, and metadata the service generates from them.
  • Connected-platform data — when you connect YouTube, TikTok, Facebook, or Instagram: the access tokens the platform issues, plus basic profile details it returns (such as channel or account name and avatar) so we can show what is connected and publish on your behalf.
  • Service logs — technical logs (timestamps, request status, errors) needed to run and debug the service.

We do not sell personal data, use your data for advertising, or use your content to train models.

3. How we use it

Only to provide the service: authenticating you, rendering and storing your clips, publishing to platforms you have connected when you ask us to, showing you upload status and analytics, emailing you service messages, and keeping the service secure.

4. YouTube API Services

Empyre AI uses YouTube API Services. By using the YouTube features you also agree to the YouTube Terms of Service, and Google's handling of your data is described in the Google Privacy Policy.

When you connect YouTube we store the OAuth tokens Google issues, your channel ID and title, and use them solely to upload videos you choose to publish, read your channel details, and show you analytics for your own content. We do not share this data with third parties. Tokens are deleted when you disconnect YouTube in Settings, and you can also revoke Empyre AI's access at any time via Google security settings.

5. Where it lives

Data is processed by service providers acting on our instructions: Supabase (authentication and database), Vercel (hosting), Cloudflare (file storage), Resend (transactional email), and Stripe (payments, if you buy a paid plan — card details go to Stripe, never to us). Platform tokens are held in our database and used only server-side.

6. Retention & deletion

Connected-platform tokens are deleted when you disconnect that platform. Your account and its data are deleted on request — email jake@empyre.uk — subject to short backup-retention windows at our providers.

7. Your rights

Depending on where you live (including under UK/EU data-protection law) you may have rights to access, correct, export, or erase your personal data, and to object to or restrict processing. Email us and we will action it.

8. Changes

We will update this page when our practices change and adjust the date above. Significant changes will be announced in the product.
